What does the SAT look like? The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States. It consists of multiple sections designed to assess a student's readiness for college, focusing on skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
The test is divided into three main sections: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW), Math, and an optional Essay. The EBRW section includes reading comprehension questions and writing and grammar questions. Students are presented with passages from literature, historical documents, social sciences, and natural sciences, followed by questions that test their understanding and analytical skills.
